A LITTLE SHADOWRUN DICTIONARY:
(Shadowrun is a trademark of FASA Fantasy Coorporation)
Shadowrun is a RPG in the year 2060. Magic is awakened again, Orks and Trolls are living aside humans. On the other
side, technology has run through a great evolution, so that it is possible to replace parts of your body by cyberware,
bionic machines that can have got guns implanted, a raised strengh - or a cocktail mixer for the Snob in the sixth
world. The gouvernments has been replaced by big concerns that fight eath other - by every possibility. One of these
possibilities are shadowrunner, mercenaries, living aside the shadows thrown by the coorporation buildings, running
in the shadows... Ruling them ordying in them.
- Lone Star - The "police" in the year 2060. One of some security services, but this one is told to follow the cliché of the typical cop - fat, munching donuts and drinking coffee and shooting dumbly on everything that moves
- Smartgun - Kind of Cyberware that allows you to aim more exactly with guns; often used in security services.
- Ruger Thunderbolt - Official gun of every Lone Star-cop
- Soykaf - Kind of cheap coffee, made by soya, grain-soup and lots of chemicals
- Aztechnology - One of the big concerns. I mean the REAL big ones
- Johnson - Nickname for a typical coorporation man who hires shadowrunner
- Con - Short for concern
- Saeder Krupp - Another of the big cons, lead by the dragon Lofwyr
- SIN - System Identification Number. Kind of passport, there are different ones. The con SINs are the best, most shadowrunner and ganger have none (that means they officially don't exist - needn't to be a handicap...)
- Run - A job for Shadowrunner (typically bodyguarding, hacking, stealing, kidnapping, sometimes murder...)
- Lofwyr - A great dragon and the boss of Saeder Krupp. Tough guy.
- Rigger - Driver that drives his or her vehicle by a datajack, that means by his thoughts. They act much quicker and more exactly than normal drivers, and some even control vehicle guns
- Barren's - Slum quarter in Seattle 2060
- Flashbang - Powerful Grenade
- Shamans - Magicians
- Cybersams - Samurais that are much boosted by cyberware
- Mr. J - Johnson
