What Is "Improv Acting"?
Improv Acting is a form of acting that involves no scripts. Actors
are required to come up with original ideas and dialogue as they go
without the time to think about what would make the best choice of words.
The goal is to be as entertaining (specifically, as funny and as clever)
as possible. Many performers, especially actors and comedians, tend to
use improv acting as a way to integrate themselves into the live
performance scene.
